Chris has played over 80 1st team games for Yorkshire and Derbyshire. He has scored over 2,500 1st team runs and has been a Professional Cricketer for 10 years now. In his debut season with Yorkshire Chris earned a County Championship winners medal. He was named Derbyshire One Day player of the year in 2006 and has five 1st team Centuries to his name. He is currently Yorkshire 1st team’s opening batsman with Andrew Gale.

Chris, along with Andrew Gale, founded Pro Coach Cricket Academy in 2006 and is a Director of the business.

Chris is a qualified coach and has vast cricket coaching experience, mainly from his time in Sydney, Australia. He was Head Coach of the Western Sydney Cricket Academy for 5 seasons, was Club Coach for Southern Districts CC in 2005, and regularly coached the New South Wales u13 batsmen.

Chris is also a Head Coach of Pro Coach Cricket Academy in the Yorkshire and Derbyshire area. He has a good reputation with many of his young cricketers making the leap from Club to District and District to County honours.

Pro Coach Cricket Academy provides expert cricket coaching by current Test and County cricketers for juniors across the UK.

Whatever the skill level of the child, from beginner to junior County player, Pro Coach guarantees its academies will benefit each participant technically, mentally, physically and also improve their confidence.
