Pro Coach Sports Academy

Pro Coach Sports Academy was formed in February 2009 by Stuart Cope, Chris Taylor and Andrew Gale. Stuart Cope initially set up a sports coaching company in 2008 after graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University, the coaching company grew rapidly and the expertise of Chris Taylor and Andrew Gale were required. Chris and Andrew are current Yorkshire County Cricket Club players and both are directors of Pro Coach Cricket Academy which is the biggest cricket coaching company in the U.K.

This meant that Stuart, Chris and Andy formed Pro Coach Sports Academy, continuing the established name of Pro Coach. Pro Coach Sports Academy is a sport’s coaching company that basis itself on top class coaching from professional sportsman, degree graduates and highly qualified sports coaches. We primarily coach children between the ages of 5 and 16 but we also coach adults for our sports club services.

Pro Coach Sports Academy currently coaches and instructs throughout Yorkshire in areas such as Leeds, Harrogate, Ilkley, Bradford and Huddersfield. We offer a range of sports and activities, these are;

Pro Coach Sports Academy Philosophy

Pro Coach believes that in England children are not receiving enough high level of sport and activity coaching. Therefore Pro Coach Sports Academy aims to provide high quality sports coaching in all the sports we provide.

Pro Coach Sports Academy aim to improve every child’s confidence, skill level, fitness and social skills in any session, holiday camp, birthday party or academy.

Holiday camp, after school club, academy, birthday party or sports club coaching any service you use will be provided the ‘Pro Coach’ way. This means professionalism, efficiency and top class sports coaching.

Pro Coach Services

Holiday Camps: Pro Coach Sports Academy offers holiday camps that are run during the school holidays. We offer two types of camps. These are called Pro Coach Activity Camps and Pro Coach Sports Academy Academy Camps.

Activity camps are a great way for your child to enjoy their school holiday gaining friends, having fun, keeping fit and being coached by professional players and highly qualified coaches. Many activities are on offer such as swimming, football, basketball, cricket, netball, martial arts, dance, and arts and crafts. Activity camps are split into three age ranges;

• Pro Coach Cubs: 5 – 7 year olds
• Pro Coach Kids: 8 – 11 year olds
• Pro Coach Superstars: 11 – 16 year olds

This means your child will be enjoying their school holidays in a holiday camp with children of the same age. So if your child wants to enjoy their school holidays at a holiday camp then a Pro Coach Sports Academy Activity Camp is for you.

Sports Academy Camps: If your son/daughter is obsessed with one sport, then a Pro Coach Sports Academy Academy Camp is for them!! These holiday camps take place during the school holidays, they focus on just one sport, whatever the age or ability the camp will help you improve;

Birthday Parties: If your child just loves sport, why not have a sports birthday party coached by our professional playing or highly qualified coaches. You supply the location and we will provide a sports coaching session or tournament in the sport of your choice. Pro Coach because your child deserves the best.

Academies: This new exciting service is currently being planned. This service will be launched later in 2009.

Schools: We run after school clubs in many schools coaching and instructing in a range of sports and activities such as football, cricket, netball, tennis, dance, tag rugby, martial arts, tennis and basketball. All our sports coaches and instructors are professional players or highly qualified coaches, this means we offer top quality sports coaching. This means we can instantly provide your school with a great service which will benefit your pupils immensely.

We understand schools need cover for PPA time. Pro Coach Sports Academy can provide a cost effective solution to covering physical education lessons. Our sessions are innovative as Pro Coach Sports Academy uses state of the art equipment and challenging session plans. 

Our professional playing and highly qualified coach’s can cater for KS1-4. We make sure any lesson we provide is structured along National Curriculum guidelines and that every child is involved and has a smile on their face.

Sports Club services

Our coach’s are flexible to your clubs needs, we can coach just one session or even a whole season. We can supply the training equipment and can run training sessions that are either fun or intense.
